Welcome to the Odessa

The ship Odessa is the perfect location for your event in Amsterdam.
As from 1 January 2013 we will be sailing in a different direction, focusing only on events.
During the past 12.5 years we have been fortunate enough to create numerous events such as weddings, business presentations, dinners, etc. which has given us ample experience to enthusiastically help make your dream day come true.

The beautiful Amsterdam River IJ offers a safe harbour for the extraordinary ship Odessa. It is a replica of a Poliakra, a Russian merchant ship from the 16th century. The Odessa can be transformed into the ultimate location for your event, without changing any of its original features. Whether you would want to host a businesslike presentation, an over-the-top wedding, a gala dinner and a party or a private dinner: Odessa possesses the perfect ambiance to make your event unforgettable.

The lower deck
The lower deck provides a space for 70 people to enjoy culinary highs at a ‘sit-down dinner’ or you can use the space for a bash for 100 people with, of course, a DJ.

…the middle deck
Our café on the middle deck has an informal feel to it and a warm ambiance and has its very own (cocktail) bar. Here you can throw a smaller party or just drinks for 50 people. Next to the café is the conservatory. In winter time it is completely covered and heated. During summer it will be uncovered, in part or in its entirety, making it one of the best terraces in Amsterdam overlooking the river IJ. You can either choose to have a sit-down dinner for 60 people or drinks or a reception for 80.

The summer is also the most wonderful time to host your own BBQ or drinks up to 50 people.

…or the entire ship
You can also rent the entire ship if you wish. Up to 160 people will easily fit in if you choose to have a sit-down dinner and 230 people if you go for a full-blown party.

We turn any event into an unforgettable day: an intimate dinner, an informal BBQ with colleagues, perhaps even ending in a smashing party in our club or we can host an amazing wedding for you. It’s all possible on the Odessa.

In consultation with you the sensational organic catering company Cook 'Inn( http://www.cookinn.nl/) prepares delicious food but, should you prefer, you can arrange for your own catering company too.
